LOST’s season finale code name finalists revealed
ByLost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse always come up with a code name for the big twist in each season’s final episode. Two years ago, when Jack flashed forward instead of back, it was code-named “The Rattlesnake In the Mailbox.” Last year, when Ben moved the island, the code name was “The Frozen Donkey Wheel.”
This year, Lindelof & Cuse offered the fans the chance to come up with the code name for the Season 5 finale twist. Personally, I think the idea is kind of silly — fans trying to code-name a twist they know nothing about? How can they possibly come up with something that even remotely makes sense? Anyway, Lindelof & Cuse have narrowed down the various entries into 13 finalists, as announced in this week’s Official Lost Audio Podcast, and here they are:

- The Fifth Toe
- The Exploding Pretzel Jar
- The Twinkie
- Jack Gets Pregnant
- The Droids You’re Looking For
- The Hooded Leprechaun
- The Zombie Bake Sale
- The Zeigarnik
- Smokey’s Dorm Room
- The Spanish Inquisition
- The Fork In the Outlet
