Locke better suit up for a reunion of some sort.
Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirmed to TV Guide Magazine that Katey Sagal is returning to the show’s final season–a stark departure, perhaps, when you think that the character she plays, Helen Norwood, is supposedly dead already. Then again, this is Lost, and death is, well…
As always, he isn’t revealing much about who else is returning, but he’s also confirmed that Ian Somerhalder–currently anchored at the CW’s Vampire Diaries–has just shot his return scene as Boone. And he isn’t speaking up on Harold Perrineau’s return to the show. “I cannot yet confirm or deny whether he will be back on the show this year,” he said.
Another former cast member who wants back? Julie Bowen, also known as Jack’s former wife. “What’s stopping you?” she told Cuse in jest when they met up at a fundraiser. And she’s got a possible scenario in her head, too: “The last time you saw Sarah, she was pregnant with another man’s child. But I would pitch that it was actually Jack’s baby and Jack’s found out and it’s somehow important to whatever is happening on the island.”
Something always has to be up, it seems.

“Lost” is one of the shows which gets the highlight at the ongoing D23 Expo. Apart from auctioning its memorabilia, the show is also giving the first look into its sixth season’s poster. The art, although simple, contains symbols written translucently on the fonts of “The Final Season”. Also noticeable is the characters line-up that includes the fallen ones like Shannon, Charlie, Ana Lucia and Mr. Eko.

Since this would be the last season before the show ends for good, ABC has conducted an auction to sell its props at the Expo. Kate’s toy plane, Hurley’s winning lottery ticket, Locke’s hunting knife, Sawyer’s letter and many other pieces are sold to the highest bidder. These items are on display at the Anaheim Convention Center where the event is held from September 10 to 13.
On Saturday, September 12 at noon to 2 P.M., there will be Lost Trading Cards and autograph signings from two special cast.
“Lost” is set to return on TV next year with several familiar faces returning. Ian Somerhalder who plays Boone in season 1 has confirmed his return to the final season. Dominic Monaghan aka Charlie reportedly is also signed for three episodes.

Will Lost fans meet a teenage Sawyer on season six?
According to a network casting notice, the ABC hit is seeking a Caucasian actor between the age of 12 and 14 to portray…
Teenage Boy: Sporting dirty blond hair and intense searching eyes, he’s wise beyond his years. He finds himself having to deal with a horrible family accident. Recurring.
Is there any doubt that this character will be a younger version of Sawyer?

John Hawkes is joining the final season of “Lost” as a recurring.
The “Deadwood” alum will play Lennon, the scruffy, edgy and charismatic spokesperson and translator for the president of a foreign corporation who is far more powerful than it seems from his position.
Hawkes, who played budding entrepreneur and politician Sol Star on David Milch’s Western “Deadwood,” recently co-starred on another HBO series, the offbeat comedy “Eastbound & Down.”
His feature credits include “American Gangster” and “Miami Vice.”
Hawkes is repped by Innovative and Thruline.

Charlie. Claire. Boone. Faraday.
A handful of characters will return for the sixth and final season of Lost. But there’s one name we never expected to find on that list: Mr. Eko.
After all, reports from season two of the show indicated that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje pretty much voted himself off the island back in the day.
But in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor said “fans of Eko should have hope [for a return.”

He said he “loved playing that character,” adding:
“I’m here for them. Adewale is open for business. We have had talks about some things they might do for the final season and there are other dead folks coming back allegedly, but at the moment it is still a maybe. A strong maybe, but I have not shot anything yet or signed any contracts. But I’m hoping.”
Our best guess: keep hoping, Adewale. It’s hard to envision a scenario in which Eko returns to Lost.

It might be a busy season for Grunberg, who has also been approached about appearing on Lost. The actor, who played pilot Seth Norris of Oceanic flight 815 in the very first episode, got a call about coming back for the last season of the hit ABC show. Grunberg is totally game for anything the Lost producers can cook up for him, but he has no idea what they are planning. “That’s literally where my call ended,” he says.
Norris didn’t survive the island, but as more of Lost’s characters who met the grim reaper are signing on to appear one last time, it would only be appropriate to bring back the man who flew them to the island in the first place. “If NBC will allow it,” Grunberg says. “I will go back.”

It’s one of the most pressing questions on the minds of Lost fans everywhere: Why the heck doesn’t Richard Alpert age?
Nestor Carbonell, the actor that plays this mysterious character, wonders the same thing. He, along with viewers, will find out next season, as Carbonell has been made a series regular.

“I’m moving my whole family to Hawaii next week,” he told TV Guide Magazine. “This whole time I’ve been flying back and forth, but now I’ll be living on the island with the others. They tell me I’ll be in 16 of the 18 episodes.”
Meanwhile, executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof confirm that Alpert’s backstory will take a long time to reveal. Said Carbonell: “Obviously Richard doesn’t age, so I’m most curious to know how old he is and if he’s in fact pulling the strings.”

The sixth and final season of Lost may center around an entirely new timeline, but it will also return to its past in at least a couple of ways.
First, Elizabeth Mitchell has confirmed that she’ll reprise her role as Juliet, despite the fact that her character was inches away from an exploded hydrogen bomb in May’s finale and despite the fact that the actress is starring in a new series, V.
“[I'll appear] pretty immediately, and then I’m not sure after that,” Mitchell told E! News this week about Juliet’s role next year. “I think it will be satisfactory.”

Meanwhile, Josh Holloway says his character’s state of mind, following the events of the season five finale, will hearken back to the former, bitter Sawyer.
“I think he’s pretty destroyed. All of that growth got ripped away. I think he’s gonna be a bit salty again, which I’m looking forward to. All I know is that he’s destroyed and has given up on life again and on having any positive lessons. So watch out!”
We surely will. Lost returns to the air in January 2010.

Since the series is coming to an end with the sixth season, “Lost” is allowing fans to have a piece of the island by participating on an auction. During its panel at the imminent San Diego Comic Con, “Lost” will display some of its iconic props and sell them to the highest bidder after the series finale in May 2010.
“In celebration of our fans around the world, Profiles in History has been selected to auction a selection of original props, set pieces, costumes and collectors’ artifacts from the entire series in order to give our fans a chance to own a piece of one of the greatest, most iconic shows in history,” ABC announced. “A first look at some of these items will take place at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.”
“Lost” panel will be held on Saturday, July 25 at Hall H starting 11 A.M., but the display of the props will be previewed at booth #315 throughout the four days (July 23-26). Among the items up for auction are Kate’s toy plane, Hurley’s winning lottery ticket, Locke’s hunting knife, Sawyer’s letter, Charlie’s guitar, Mr. Eko’s club as well as other key props, costumes and set pieces from the first five seasons.
At Comic Con, creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will be present to answer questions and give a preview of the sixth season. “This is the final hurrah,” Cuse said in an interview with TV Guide magazine. “We’re not going back to Comic-Con after show is done and in fact, the theme for our panel this year is fan appreciation. We’re going as much to celebrate the fans who made Lost everything that it is as we are to talk about the show. It’s really exciting and a little bittersweet for us because this is it.”

Ausiello: May’s series finale is going to be a real downer, predicts Michael Emerson. “I don’t think Lost will have a happy ending,” he confessed to us at the Saturn Awards. “It’s the end and I think we are going to start seeing more casualties. I would put money on major characters being killed. I believe it will be a sad ending to the show — or at least bittersweet. I think it will definitely be a series finale for grownups.” Emerson, meanwhile, is still trying to make sense of the season 5 finale. (Join the club!) “I killed Jacob… maybe… probably,” he hedged. “It isn’t like we haven’t seen plenty of other people be killed and somehow come back. And what does it mean if I did kill him? I Who the hell was he anyway? Obviously, Ben wanted a father. So much of our show is about bad fathers. It is one of our biggest themes. And Jacob disappointed in those final moments. And maybe Jacob made it easy for him. Maybe that was all meant to happen. Is it all ordained? Maybe. And for that matter, can Jacob even be killed? Stay tuned is my response.”
